至今最喜欢的华金表演，最舒畅也温暖。整个故事其实也不怎么少见，就是小孩与大人间的救赎故事，但是真的拍的很温暖，也很是我喜爱的那种话唠电影。何尝不希望有一个与自己完全平等的长辈又何尝不希望自己是一个拥有独立思想的人呢？
在后期转制黑白，演员选了华金的情况下，却拍出了可能是颁奖季最温柔的一部电影。最大的优点当然是形式上的，纪录片式的采访贯穿始终，主要人物的表达也经常是站在受访者的视角。在主题上则有点保守，还是孩子和中年人互相取暖疗伤那套东西。不过在对原生家庭、亲子关系探讨越发极端的今天，这样菊次郎式的处理反而是一种另类了。
全方位舒适的一部电影。和华叔上一部电影截然不同。应该是我2021的最佳电影了。太喜欢了，是一部有分寸，模糊，细腻的片子。

必须5星，为对待孩子，们的态度。影片角度放这么低，完全令人吃惊。
一开始，我想掐死这个讨厌的小孩。然后可能我们都喜欢他了吧，彼此驯服彼此接纳，与人共度时光多么有魔力啊。

A24的年度温柔软刀子，治愈的极致是致郁。雾霾笼罩的褪色年代，只有影像和记忆是真实的。华金真的从声音到眼睛都太有戏了，那种隔绝，清醒又虚无的孤独感真的深入他的骨髓了，那个男孩，伍迪·诺曼太上镜头戏感太好。我们总会有那种身不由己失控感，和”妹妹“的，和“侄子”的，羞于认错，羞于正视自我，把自己的弱点看作尴尬无限放大，害怕给别人添麻烦……这是2022前最柔后劲最猛的一剂药。
真是温柔的一部电影。华金依旧贡献了不同且让我惊讶的表演。打算补完他的电影了，好像质量都很不错。
小丑这种浓墨重彩式的表演之后，华金证明在生活流电影中也能自如表现，小男孩的表演更是惊艳，真实表现了一个回避性依恋型的小孩面对离别的情绪化表达。今年的黑白作品确实有点密集得有些没有必要，但是这部里黑白不仅有帮助表现《曼哈顿》式的纽约景观，更是压制住爆发的冲突，让情绪始终处在某种阀值之下，紧张却不夸张，温情且不矫情。Mike Mills的电影里，生活如流水，烦恼是溪水里的石子，偶有漩涡却总归不是大风大浪
情绪的不断变化，脆弱敏感又如此吸引人，可以一直一直拍下去。
小丑版《菊次郎的夏天》，小正太懂事到爆。育儿说到底，还是成年人和孩子之间彼此伤害又治愈、相互教育和共同成长的过程。以孩子这面镜子反观大人，真是惭愧又惊悚。舅舅以拍纪录片为由去采访孩子们，也是凭借那些纯净的精神光谱检视自身——借由他们无分别心的目光，观察和面对这个问题百出的世界。那些可爱的灵魂拷问，改天捉住我家小朋友也问一问好啦。

【NYFF59】迄今最佳，好久没有看过这么欢笑和泪水俱备的电影了。剧本真的太好了，小细节和情绪的推动做得淋漓尽致，小演员和凤凰的表演也超棒，昨天看完lost daughter被打击的婚育心理今天被狠狠治愈了。映前mike mills上来说自己在纽约长大所以在这里首映像给父母展示一样，我看完想说your parents would be proud of u.
