The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 昨天才看了1，今天去影院看了恰好还在上映的2。又是个时代变迁中很妙的故事，似乎比1更好看。看来我可以去补个电视剧。电影少量与同志相关的片段被删了，回来上网补上。不禁让人感慨，近100年前有声电影刚出现，角色尚能同情成全，2022年放映还要剪掉。我又想起bohemian rhapsody 上映时也遭到同样待遇。
元电影这层处理地很有意思。双线叙事增添了不少乐趣，可惜没多大关联。
这一集就还蛮……崩的。

编剧是有些连连看配对强迫症的，唐家屯上上下下相关人士就没有没个伴儿的，除了赛博老太太，她走了故事也就真正结束了，Mary和她也越来越像，继承遗志的真正掌舵人。我已从大小姐颜粉转为声控了。
非得删减Barrow的戏份？ 一定要把字幕翻得驴唇不对马嘴？
3.5 这集真的是合家欢。但是删了txl情节，没有txl情节的唐顿那还是唐顿吗？
影院重新开门终于让我看到这一部。他们一切都好，已是最好。
里面提到了由默片向有声电影的过渡期，展现出了做默片的电影人的窘境，让人想到了那个法国电影《艺术家》（仅为个人切入角度）。
一场婚礼开始。一场葬礼结束。
那种延绵的感情，静静敲进心里，随着他们共同欢乐与哀伤。在葬礼结束后，死亡换来了新生。当所有人挽着手出现围在小婴儿身旁，镜头一转定格于老夫人的画像。这让人恍惚间发现，原来任何的隔阂与阶级早已消失了，楼上与楼下，他们是相爱又无法分开的一个整体。
本集主要讲了两件事，老夫人被刚过世的年轻时的情人送了一个位于南法的度假别墅，有电影公司租用唐顿庄园拍电影，却正赶上从默片到有声片的过渡。
