The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 宗教，资本异化，极权统治，历史循环上演，太多太多隐喻。制作疯神这批人一定在宇宙边缘的赛博小酒馆里和八只眼的外星蠕虫举杯畅饮，然后跑进黑洞里磕上一整天的药，不然怎么能制作出如此瑰丽而带有独特粘腻气质的定格动画。整部片看下来，即使视觉上被各种猎奇之物与色彩不断冲击，我也不会感到恐怖，取而代之更多的是一种喘不过气来的压抑感，一种久违的对于幽闭与未知的本能性反抗。疯神不适合大部分人，它终将是疯子的呓语，亦或者，我们才是疯子？
