In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 怎么那么像短剧集合……但有机器人死掉的地方我还是哭了一下。人类不值得（。）真的，里面关于机器人奴役人类（做本来人类对动物做的事情）就很ok，反讽max的地方是广告。

3.5。扣下半星因为这尴尬的感情线，虽然我嘴上说“谁能拒绝穿制服的脸叔呢”，但是当蒙塔古顶着脸叔的脸精神出轨（？）还是让我觉得难以接受。
导演对于科幻和现代社会的理解仍然停留在上世纪七八十年代，无法代入也就get不到笑点。
却搞得没有什么故事性，对话居多，就像是话剧改编过来的。
没有尔虞我诈的生存野心，也并非架构高级技术的深奥，整体质感比先前物料透露的“廉价”有更出人意料的效果，各种美术也有种夹杂着新鲜与热闹的巧思。如若真的列举对比在档的同类型剧集，那些实现甚至还不如这里来得有效。固定空间、有点夸张的尖叫念白有些难以接受，但戳中的部分还是远比无趣的地方多些。
导演童心犹存，但本片绝非灵感之作。立意流于平凡，美术实在简陋。想象也始终缺乏，成片终于勉强。是电视剧的话还可以原谅，电影质感从缺。仿佛是导演自己才华的宫殿ceiling上的一个“巨型漏洞。
让-皮埃尔·热内的最后一部！8/8✓不过这一部还是让人有点失望的，反正不及之前的作品那么让人舒适，实验科幻确实是实验……不对我胃口。但必须得承认，想象力依然爆棚且令人惊叹！

挺好的题材，拍得有点花拳绣腿了，感情线腻乎，谍战线不足
中规中矩。阴差阳错的成功？还是正义力量的成功？
本来当一个科幻片看的。居然是一个讽刺现实的片子。结合上海目前的状况，本来看似好笑的场景，就在身边不停的发生，就让人细思恐极了。

尤文尼斯的覆灭有点突然，其他部分处理的挺好，法式赛博朋克喜剧。
从头到尾充满观影乐趣，既有机器人威胁论思考又有人性的嘲讽，最喜欢胖老婆 Isabelle 和她的那啥…哈哈哈！
三星到四星，未来智能机器人主宰着生活，脑洞很不错。
