The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 内核是母爱和自然万物的温暖童话故事。要坚强、要善良、要记得妈妈一直都在身边。
重新崇尚自然，认大地为万物万灵的母亲：聆听得到母亲低语的地方长出植被，缺少母亲教导的地方才有纷争，人类在地面上建立的文明都是可以等到终结的一瞬，各种围墙、制度都像是天被地床间的一场过家家。希尔达第一季就讲了人类和精灵的关系：人类因为看不见小小的精灵，会随意地（无知地）侵犯精灵的家园，其实对于大地母亲来说人也是一样弱小，但母亲选择包容。作者是个了不起的人，不知道他是不是也有一位了不起的母亲，因为在他创造的世界里母亲和女性是这么的强大温柔……当然，也可以用幼教片的视角去看：尊重妈妈的爱，时不时地倾听妈妈的叮嘱，这些与自由奔跑并不冲突。
希尔达永远没有让我失望，它是我目前看过的最好的儿童动画片了。

完全看不懂，听说是得先看了动画剧集再来看这个才行。可是我又不爱看动画剧集类作品。
最后结局的升华很加分，超越物种的大爱和包容，温暖你我。

最后巨魔妈妈的发言也太治愈感人了吧，新年的开始就被暖到，期待第三季的播出
延续tv的高质量演出和情感引导，但由于部分角色塑造的完成度不高（king of mountain和他的brother、captain等），确实还有进步空间。
最后五分钟的结局，愿世界如这般美好。山丘之王这个角色挺复杂的，是用变回来诱骗希尔达的骗子囚犯，是主张进攻Trollburg的激进分子，也是用母爱来安慰希尔达的暖心山王。
不喜欢这种讲故事的方式。觉得不如TV版剧集有意思。
