The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 故事中规中矩没有什么亮点，主角那种遗世之风简直社恐，人类交棒给机器人的隐喻也很明显。亮点是汤姆汉克斯的影帝级表演还是百尺竿头更上了一步，令人叹为观止

我永远喜欢看一片白纸的灵魂探索世界的故事～制造机器人有些俗套（隔壁的超能查派！），不过这样旧点子新包装的公路片倒也不错。
前阿甘教導阿甘機器人哈哈哈哈，stopping，initiative!後面口音倒是越來越自然了。finch是怎麼遭到輻射的？
太温情了，治愈人心。一老头，一狗，一机器。最后也感动到了
其他评论里也指出了，这是一部很简单，甚至很俗套的电影，但是足够立体的人物和表演，外加精湛的机器人特效让整部片子显得十分有心，在俗套之余仍能打动许多人，讲好那个看似简单的故事。
寂寞又温情的末日组合，三个生灵的情感联结和传递。

jeff做的非常真实及高科技，但是故事实在太老套，未来版的荒岛余生，特别是蝴蝶，刻意到尴尬
最后也代表世界要恢复正常，重新焕发生机
