The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 兄妹二人小演员都演得很灵，长得也好看，甚至感觉是比《怪奇物语》的老几位强了【此处拉踩】，故事内容其实看简介也很吸引人，可惜表现出来并没有太出色，
看完确实让人失望的感慨：“就这？”怪奇物语的大火已经把这种复古、儿童、恐怖的题材定义到一个新的高度，而本片在此框架下则显得十分无趣，伊桑霍克的角色也太过于酱油，电影内核青春成长以及外部的通灵也都十分老套，甚至有一种大数据剧本的廉价观感。拍的其实还不错，只是故事真的毫无新意且老套，在一个半小时的时长之内不管是孩子还是反派都过多的缺少人物描绘和动机，都成为为了满足电影结局而生凑起来的工具罢了。
这次事件是丹麦近代历史上最大的悲剧之一，电影就是根据这场悲剧改编的。片尾的遇难儿童名单看得人心痛，让人泪奔。大规模的战争很难不发生人道主义灾难问题，而且战场上大多数军人也是无辜的，所以，对发动侵略战争和鼓吹战争的人的都应该给予谴责。影片结尾母亲寻找女儿那一段落，演员表现力太强了。

看完之后气炸了，战争，无论胜负，都意味着无数无辜的人被卷入其中，变成炮灰。最可恨的莫过于，前辈用鲜血捍卫的荣耀，日后，被轻描淡写地一句“睦邻友好”抹杀。
丹麦根据真实事件拍摄的战争历史片，记述二战末期英国空军轰炸丹麦首都的德军总部时误炸一修道院学校，至数百孩子教师死亡的历史惨剧。拍摄得很专业、人物生动，节奏紧凑。影片原片名就叫《轰炸》。联想到正在乌克兰发生数月之久的战争，又会有多少无辜百姓、孩子们和学校、医院等社会设施被摧残，令人感慨！影片应该是在长久、大量的历史灾难事件调查、追踪的基础上拍摄的，这种对普通人的生命的尊重，对过去多年的历史事件的契而不舍地探寻、调查、表现出的精神和做法，值得钦佩、赞赏！
怎么能。。错打这么多炸弹。。。太不可思议。

还是是枝裕和那个味道，可能是审美疲劳了吗？总觉得有些桥段有些刻意了，不如他以前的作品自然。
为什么要了解罪犯的心路历程？还想看看来源？现在剧洗白太多有惯性？逃跑那几段+电话响起满足不了你是怎么着 这剧不是叫黑色电话吗 又不是黑色变态 什么叫烂片张嘴就来？光露出一双聚光小眼睛都知道是谁了 想看Ethan去看爱在三部曲去啊 意难平什么呢
最美的修女，最天真的孩子们，如果有选择，谁又愿意当坏人的平民。
虎头蛇尾的感觉，最后地下室里的小孩结局如何？虽然应该感觉是都没戏了，但也要有个交代啊。那个改邪归正的男生最后如何？盖世太保总部被炸了几下，除了逃出来的人，其他也都死了？
反杀加一星。其他部分没什么感觉，到底算通灵题材还是怎样。
有点浪费一个好题材。拍的不聚焦导致了没有一个主角，每个演员都各司其职完成了表演但彼此没有什么融合，也没有凝聚到某一两个人身上，散而杂乱。甚至到最后有几个人物都没有交代到底怎么样了。
老爹史蒂芬金有《小丑回魂》，儿子Joe Hill写《黑色电话》，是难摆脱老子的“阴影”！
被抛弃的孩子们就能互为亲人？我觉得导演这次也挺犹豫的。
拿着假想的幻象，层层累加的前置条件来呈现所谓“爱”与“治愈”，终究是舍本逐末，本末倒置。
从另一个角度看二战，战争太无情了，愿世界和平
观感上非常接近《CODA》，是枝裕和这次交出了奥斯卡最佳影片级别的作品👍
我看了一遍，想说一点什么，发现好像并没有什么值得提及的，平庸之作。有两个细节：伊桑霍克演也挺真实的，另外导演长得和伊桑霍克差不多，我开始还以为是自导自演呢
