The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 谁说同性电影必须标新立异？本片和世上诞生的无数异性恋爱情片一样大俗特俗，同志也是人，天下大同，众生皆俗！谁说gay子不能在度假的同时收获一段刻骨铭心爱情？虽然过程会很曲折抓马，但本片不止步于此。 片子以亚裔的视角为切入点，在某个程度上审视了美国同志圈的精神生活、价值观、风尚，以及展现了美国长期存在的社会问题（种族歧视），因为披着彩虹的外衣，还是比较新鲜的（也许因为导演是亚裔）。除此之外，每个人物都个性鲜明，甚至在你生活当中能找到对应点。有时候尝试接受自己的软弱和平凡，低下高昂的头颅，并不代表自己是一个很差劲的人，而自以为是的人才会遭受唾弃（尽管nobody cares）。中间有玩梗，gay子们听了都心领神会，有戳中我的笑点，很适合和姐妹们一起阖家观赏！

抛开刻板印象不谈，我觉得这部电影本质就是新瓶装旧酒，核心就是两点，两对男主，一对是傲慢与偏见最终打破隔阂，一对是典型的小妞电影跨越了种种最后在一起。

啊will嗓音低沉谁不可以！！男主居然是编剧汗制片人。应该是第二次跟随镜头来到这个岛。恍惚中觉得自己能有一世有过这样的体验那该有多好啊。看看肉图一乐呵完事。

或许现世真的没有这样的剧情，但谁不向往美好呢
中规中矩，大段大段的旁白，代替了故事情节。本意识到自己不能将想法强加于他人之上，却无意义中还是用旁白输出了自己的想法。
天呐为什么我好喜欢这个故事！虽然结局有点俗套但是不可否认happy ending真的很happy啊。最羡慕的就是他们一群朋友可以像家人一样。

虽然主演是俩asian，但是这片子在提升gay asian的visibility和打破偏见上，我只想说not helping

OK it’s cute, and American gays are so annoying. I think instead of using drugs they should really consider eat more sleeping pills, just keep quiet, and be humble.
