The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 去年4月我本来应该在天桥看现场的。疫情改变了很多。Terrorisme等其他的événements也是。
百老汇音乐剧果真不同凡响，从舞台设计、场景切换、光影效果到台词音乐都无可挑剔，女机长简直太酷！如果说上周刚看过的《转折点》试图拼接起正面的历史，这部音乐剧算是另辟蹊径地挽起一朵火焰，照耀出那段时光的影子。唯此空前绝后的经历方可配得上传奇人生，我亦多么渴望有一天坐在不明方向不知终点的航班上，将我可怜可笑又可叹的故事说与你听……

这才是纪念 911 的最好选材方式，受灾的是平民，也讲平民叙事。世界以痛吻我，我却报之以歌。哪里有黑暗哪里就有光明，哪里有悲伤哪里就有快乐。受限于戏剧的形式很多地方还是要做过多解释，稍显拖沓，改编成电影一定会更好的。
