The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Pride and Prejudice in Fire Island.虽然狠狠地套了Jane Austen的壳，但是在层出不穷逐渐疲软的gay comedy中，本片依然凭借出色的screenwriting带来了许多亮点。很多非常niche却极为relatable的queer insider jokes,以及从The Ethical Slut到Alice Munro这样看似pretentious但依然有着nodding to the literature gays的温柔.对于男同性恋社群内部问题，identity crisis,以及Asianess in gay culture的探讨，相对轻盈却保持了足够细腻，配合不能再酷的queer OST实在太棒了
老美这种retro sci-fi 拍的都挺好，又stupid，又挺燃。

打开软件也是一座fire island ，我就是那个提前打包行李仓惶逃走的，只是没有查理开着水上巴士来追我。
对奥斯汀作品的一次还算有趣的改编，将泛美同志生态圈的现状、阶层差异和共同憧憬用比较轻松的方式展现，不乏让人会心一笑的桥段，但整体观感更像情景喜剧的组合，浪漫甜度爆满杰克苏式的童话外衣并不能掩盖其内核情感的肤浅和空洞。
傲慢与偏见的剧本痕迹太明显，但是看到最后又很难不感动。我们跟简奥斯汀的期许不一直都是一样的么，在一个明媚的夏天，遇到一个改变一生的人。现实中或许从未实现过，幸好，我们有小说，我们有电影。

没看过原作，但知道故事大概设定，特效加上亲情牌，结尾还让我感动了一把。另外感叹一下小演员选的真不错，菲比好可爱～总之就是倍速合家欢电影。
剧情再差逻辑再崩，但这个情怀是拉满了，在毫无预期的情况下看到老队员重聚，对老影迷来说已经泪崩了吧(ps:棉花糖小人可爱)
这里不存在要不要出柜的挣扎，也不存在被世俗用不同的眼光看待，而是展示即使在同性群体中，寻找爱情、伴侣、认可，其实也不是一件容易的事。但就个人观感而言，同志姐妹间去参加同志派对的场景，以及姐妹间的感情与撕逼状态，没什么特别的亮点，主角也一点都不好看。而且也不知道化妆老师干嘛去了，所有演员的皮肤状态差的一逼。
