Hotel manager Marcus Winter is awaiting an important visitor to the Emirates Palace Hotel.His long-time friend – the representative of a big tour operator – should be arriving soon to inspect the hotel.But instead of his friend, it’s a new inspector that comes – Sarah Riems, whose ideas concerning the needs of hotel guests greatly differ from those of Marcus.Trying to impress Sarah with the distinctive flair of his hotel, Marcus makes a grand presentation, emphasizing the spectacular regional cuisine and even taking the inspector on several trips into the breathtaking desert. 基本上从头到尾都是吉伦哈尔的独角戏。演得很卖力，而我的内心却毫无波动。
吉伦哈尔的个人秀，但是全程没有什么代入感，得知真相时也是WTF？然后最后的救赎感也竟然完全没有。想来想去，估计还是因为剧情的转折太过于快了吧。2021/10/5大森家

老吉的演技是没挑的，但人设有点奇怪，这么个分分钟爆炸的定时炸弹，不太适合做接线员吧…最近连续的森林大火，LA可能是真的越来越不宜居了？
老吉身上有一种对生活的疲惫和忍受，与其总是演执法暴力，不如挑一个独立文艺本子更好吧？
Jake Gyllenhaal演技在线，几乎独角戏，撑起了这个难看（很难看下去）的故事。反转不新鲜，但重要的两处都是对的，一个是让男主垮掉，一个则是让男主重新燃起希望从而正视自己的错误。另外两处反转的成立都建立于偏见挺有意思

和汤姆哈迪的一个电影洛克差不多，全程就是以对话的形式展现的影片，电话情节比较平淡不如洛克抓人，一个警察通过一通报警电话良心发现的故事，网飞现在真是什么题材都要尝试一下，不管怎么说杰克吉伦哈尔的表演还是很卖力气的。
减分的翻拍，只有吉伦哈尔的卖力表演可以看了。
一个优秀的剧本+绝对优秀的表演，还要什么画面，声音即可。镜像投射和共情。
吉伦哈尔的演技真的厉害，但是剧情上的单调是不足以用演技去弥补的。
看完这影片只有一个感觉：情绪管理很重要，情商真的很重要！人在激动的情况下，会忽略掉很多重要的细节。
因为还在追911剧，对这个形式感觉很亲切。吉伦哈尔的脸自带好感度up标签，看到一半都没get到主角的可恨之处。整体非常美国电影，从探讨的问题到最后的HE结局。
84/100。在原版的基础上进行了融入美国文化语境的合适嫁接，将这个国家中最见不得光那些黑暗角落有效地插进原本充满悬念性与代入感的故事，将人内心深处积满灰尘的良知放到了光亮下，无情又有情地用罪人的警铃敲响了它尚存的希望。杰克·吉伦哈尔的表演更是为整部电影锦上添花。
