The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     哈姆雷特北欧if线，故事内核却与原著完全不同，倒是讲出了原著从未涉及的侧面。维京文化血腥残酷的外皮带来爆炸性的雄性荷尔蒙，把王子复仇记的男性叙事夸张化到让人难以忍受的地步。而讽刺的是故事原本的驱动力并不在于男性主导的权力争斗，而是王后这样的女性对于自由和爱情的渴望。奥菲利亚的爱情这一次也没有拯救愚昧的王子，但是至少让自己免于毁灭。整部电影为数不多的亮色调全用在安雅这边了……

    6/10。长镜头场面调度在充足的预算下显露出空洞的一面，平移镜头跟随成长为海盗的阿姆雷特一路厮杀、屠村，人群奔跑、斗殴、哭喊和狞笑，这样机械冷漠的打杀运动除了凹一个精致的造型外，只剩对阳刚大男子主义的无限崇拜。然而矛盾的是叙事反转又是解构男权主义的，当潜入母亲房间的阿姆雷特发现生母不是想象中的贤妻良母，反而与叔叔通奸，为除掉父亲和年幼的阿姆雷特的叔叔献上吻手礼祝福，这对男性救母神话的反叛极具现代性，但导演未因此展开深层表达，即使剔除生母坦白一幕，依然改写不了经典男性复仇叙事的走向，阿姆雷特在岩浆包围之中与叔叔的决斗、牺牲再进入英灵殿的幻境，仍然是体现对男性神话的肯定。导演最大的毛病是对野兽袭人、诅咒祭司、男人打架/抢铁球等民俗怪谈元素的植入，它们没能形成自洽的隐喻系统反而和莎剧文本产生排异反应。
