The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 没多大新意的911团结一家主旋律音乐剧电影，穿插了太多没意义的内容，整体显得很碎。
「享受身体是天赋人权」的主题很有意思，遗憾的是，落脚点又是正确但无聊的「家庭」，所以从本质上，这并不是一部勇敢的电影。
脑子里思考了一下, 再组织一下语言. 这确实只是一个一般的片子, 败笔在于结尾两人快速转变, 并教育起"服务员"(观众)来. 落了下乘. 当然不是说不可以教育, 而是有更高明的手法, 以及前面对于最后的观点输出应该是层层铺垫递进的. 当转弯这么快时, 前面的故事性就不好评价了, 你说当我去欣赏故事的娱乐性时, 后面突然给我上课, 你说当我准备去接受你的思辨时, 那我是不是看看结尾就够了?

四星半。片子会带给不同人不同的解读，可以有反对对性工作者遭遇的美化，可以有反对支持性服务合法化的观点，也可以看到，正是基于片中女主自我探索的过程，才无法让角色性别互换，恰恰是因为这种性别安排，更巧妙的展现了女性的困境，性只是表象，枷锁的束缚与解除才是内核。艾玛汤普森演技太棒了。
