The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 谢苗好像一直都没变。有些仓促，但近年属于不错了。
但是故事情节就太....简单了，完全就是不服就干的节奏

《座头市》我没看过，但是这部确实拍得不错，跟最近几年国产垃圾电影相比，确实不错了。
太有质感了，同款复仇想起《剑雨》《绣春刀》，画面和武打动作不止是漂亮，雪夜杀戮，踽踽独行，颇有些许意境
最后30分钟，导演一面在剧情及打斗上进行了“缩水”，另一面却加入了突兀的日本武士风，画蛇添足差点把控不住。

大部分演员演戏都用力过猛，故事方面有待商榷的地方很多，但是电影有三个加分项，一个是美术设计，一个是武术指导，还一个是谢苗武术功底扎实，动作戏完成的干净利索。整体质感和主色调运用也很到位。算是网大中的优秀作品了。
少有的江湖味与庙堂，鼓励。另外，谢苗，你再酷再能打，我始终浮现的是你小时候的样子…
谢苗总算接到了好电影！
动作设计还是不错的，剧情太过牵强，没想到谢苗还能找到立足之地。
故事虽简单，但拍摄极其细腻。就是可怜了琴娘，身中13箭而死的意义没有升华

没啥太大意思，故事干瘪，主创自己信心不大，没有做丰满。
演出的质感镜头的运用什么的都已经够了，但之所以感觉无功无过还是在故事上浅了。角色想活过来戏剧冲突又不够，看完感觉就是读了一篇没什么转折的故事，每个角色都没入味，都差那么点，就变成了啥也没看出来。不过谢苗的演出底子是真的很不错，可以再精进！

场景、服装、化妆、道具都可圈可点，几场动作戏的氛围感也很贴切，甚至是电影片名和剧情设定都有一种玄机和深意，唯独剧情，体量小而单薄，结束前的复仇戏份几乎无波无澜，少了很多的悬念和跌宕。
