《解救吾先生》纪实摄影的风格和寒冬的环境，透出十分浓厚的肃杀氛围。韩国转换成普通的类型化拍法并非不可取，但没有眼前一亮的新感觉。其次，表演上跟原作比那是全方位拉胯，黄政民证明了一件事：演自己是最难的。最后后半段剧情的原创让其终究成了一部平平无奇的电影。
不能把戏里的黄政民当黄政民看，那是动作片男主，超出普通人的神勇了。

一味地注重渲染血腥场面，警察和反派强行降智。。跟《解救吾先生》一对比过于拉垮。。
