The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 一个人的离开先从身体的离开，再从精神上剥离。可是，记忆。或许是可以复制，但情感不能复刻。
深度探讨了克隆带来的的伦理道德，本片令人喜欢的是期待了一个乐观充满希望的结局，希望克隆技术给人类带来幸福。
我挚爱的一切
导演并没有很好的利用起生命延续这个本可以很深沉的话题，而是把重头戏放在了关于面对死亡和告别的老生常谈上，最终实现的效果也还算不错，但总感觉这个大命题放在这里很奇怪，有太多悬而未解的伦理问题和逻辑缺陷，虽有几处也颇让人动容，但只因观生命消逝的人之常情，更深层次的思考，似乎并未怎么触及，多少有点可惜。
