The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看了这片会有一种“哎，原来视杀人为司空见惯的工作的杀手日常原来是这样的啊”的感觉，开头两女主在那个被绑在椅子上的男人面前非常自然地讨论打工和代班之类的事情，真的很有生活感。
