The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 看过的第一版莎翁剧《麦克白》，极简的黑白摄影，紧凑刺激的剧情，男女黑白双煞的演技，地表最强的台词对白。
表现主义&极简风格。
极简风的宫殿以及打光有着十分强烈的舞台剧色彩，而对于声音的运用(放大的血滴于地上与脚步声相呼应等等)，三姐妹恍若分裂人格的展现手法以及面具意象则充分发挥了电影画面的优势。黑白色调更是赋予这个故事应有的沉郁感。
想了一下这座城堡甚至可以拍所有莎翁的戏 保留古英语最大程度还原莎翁的戏本，演员在里面反而不重要了其实
表演和台词都是顶尖，光影和极简之美厉了个大害，女巫戏份似乎是《第七封印》版《蜘蛛巢城》。Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow. Out, out, brief candle.
丹泽尔·华盛顿的麦克白真不错，确实和历来几版的气质都不同，科恩尝试丁点小小超越性让人一望即知，回望加展望，还真就是电影外的选角，成为俨然比戏剧性更真实的面相。
8分吧...画面极致...古英语跟不上是一个问题...没看过原著对理解有一些影响...太讲究构图和台词，少了电影更擅长的特写...另，感觉丹泽尔情绪表达基本靠吼...

场景和服装上配合黑白色的冷峻 画面与剧情一样有着强烈的反差和跌宕 但并没有想象的那么科恩 反而比较中规中矩的戏剧翻牌 把舞台剧拍的不舞台并不容易 但本片对舞台剧的走位和构造都有着极为考究的运镜 但就内核而言 黑色幽默并不适合这个古朴的经典
演技最好的麦克白夫妇。摄影真的是太绝了！太绝了！太绝了！
